If you love bread, this is the place
for you. Crunchy on the outside
and soft in the inside, bread is the
king of the menu at this joint that
attracts aspiring models and hip-
sters looking for something good to
eat and a place to be seen. Here the
salads are a big hit and the choices
are many: the special salad features
mesclun, cherry tomatoes, olives,
fennel, Sicilian tuna and avocado in
a house dressing . Carb lovers can
enjoy the pasta salad with cherry
tomatoes, Sicilian tuna, zucchini,
eggplant, red pepper and mozzarel-
la in an extra virgin olive oil dress-
ing. Come to this small, apparently
unassuming spot and you’ll end up
being pleasantly surprised!

and fat yet still a rich source of fiber
and vitamin K, which helps prevent
brain damage and is fundamental for

Located near the New Barclay Cen-
ter,
Broccolino
- a reference to the way
the first Italian immigrants in NYC
called Brooklyn, is the perfect spot to
enjoy a taste of Italy before a concert
or after a game. The tight space and
communal tables give it a homey
feel. One of our favorite salads is the
Brussel sprout and pecorino salad,
featuring shaved Brussel sprouts,
pecorino cheese and walnuts. Brus-
sel sprouts are exceptionally rich in
protein, dietary fiber, vitamins, min-
erals and antioxidants.Walnuts add
some crunchiness but also contain
beneficial nutrients, minerals, anti-
oxidants and vitamins.

Enjoy a classic Caprese Salad, simple
and delicate dishmade of sliced fresh
mozzarella, juicy tomatoes and crisp
basil, seasoned with salt and extra

from the Campania region, indeed its
name means “the salad from Capri.”
Another favorite is Barchetta Sicula
(Sicilian Boat) featuring endives, or-
anges, mix greens and goat cheese.
